    Liz Zimmerman is a life-long theatre artist. Having spent her formative years at a 6-12 public performing arts school, Liz’s passion for theatre education runs deep. She believes in the power of theatre to unlock the potential in every human: young-at-heart and old-souls alike.

    Liz received her B.A. in Theatre from the University of Maryland and is an experienced pK-12 Theatre Educator.

    Strongest Core Skill: Empathy

    Meet Cassidy Vlietstra, a teaching artist and program director who brings her bubbly personality to The Drama Spot! She's been with the company almost since the beginning and absolutely loves what she does. A lifelong theatre enthusiast, Cassidy has been teaching since 2020. You'll find her teaching drama, directing musicals, or performing in plays, always helping young artists shine!

    Strongest Core Skill: Teamwork

    Lucy Smith studies Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Psychology at Saint Mary’s College. She’s an active performer in both campus productions and with Twin City Players, and she also works as an assistant teacher at the Early Childhood Development Center on campus.

    Lucy loves sharing her pssion for theatre with her students and believes in creating a warm, inclusive environment where they feel free to be creative, take risks, and grow through play and performance.

    TEACHING ARTIST

    Favorite Theatre Game: Bunny Bunny

    Strongest Core Skill: Storytelling

    Charell Luckey-Walker is an accomplished educator with a background in theater and Shakespeare. She holds a BA in Theatre from Butler University and is expected to graduate with a Master of Arts in Teaching in Fall 2025. With over seven years of experience, she has taught various grades in South Bend Schools. Charell has directed many productions and she enjoys working in theater education, enriching students' understanding of Shakespearean works, team building, and character development.
